Removing Nail Polish with a Cotton Swab
1. Wrap cotton swabs around the ends of the sticks.
1. Wrap cotton swabs around the ends of the sticks.
2. Remove nail polish from the little finger of your left hand. Hold the swab as you would a pencil at a 45-degree angle to your finger. Wipe the swab soaked in nail polish back and forth from the cuticle guard to the front edge of the nail.
3. Remove any nail polish residue from the cuticle along the groove of the nail from the cuticle guard to the nail.
4. Use a new swab for each nail polish. Repeat steps 1-4 on all ten fingers. Note: Using cotton swabs to remove nail polish is more time consuming but reduces the number of times your hands are exposed to chemicals.
